TOUR DE FREEDOM 1000

Event Details:

Teen Challenge seeks your participation as a rider in the inaugural "Leighton Contractors Tour de Freedom 1000” commencing in Esperance on Monday 31st October 2011 and finsishing in Perth on Sunday 6th November.

Leighton Contractors Tour de Freedom 1000 will take six days, covering approximately 200 kilometres per day. Riding in 10 teams of four riders, the Leighton Contractors Tour de Freedom 1000 will depart Esperance on the south coast of Western Australia and snake its way through the Great Southern and South West regions before finishing in Perth.

On the route taken from Esperance to Perth, Teen Challenge riders will visit local schools to highlight a ‘Say No to Drugs’ prevention message to students.

The commitment sought from each rider is to raise funds for Teen Challenge Inc and it is expected that this will occur by personal, team and event fundraising activities.

This year’s fund raising will go directly towards the fit out of a new building for Teen Challenge in Warwick and with each riders personal effort, it is hoped we can exceed last year’s result..
